they are the only place I shop and everything is starting to creep up around the 15.00 and over mark
THE ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD THINGS
and the lady at the counter said that alot of the stuff goes into advertising nowdays

Well the op shop I went to was really cheap, except when I went there and bought the skirt and bracelet they were 50% off..

I've noticed that, it's annoying cos with a lot of the op shops in town, you're paying the same price for a hand-me-down that you'd pay to buy the item brand new. So I don't even bother going op shopping much anymore, cos it's such a rip-off... why pay $20 for a faded ratty top at the oppie when I can pay $20 for a cool new tee at some other store?

well I dont wear things from mainstreme stores or anywhere remotley like them,vintage, its just my taste. I got ten thousand things from the op shop today, there are still a couple that are reasonable but most of them are sending the prices up because life line and other stores are starting to advertise alot more, its bulshit, the place is supposed to be about helping people who cant afford new things, I hate it. its just become a fashion statement to op shop

I brought some dresses for $3 each at an op shop in Waihi and there was a little old lady at the counter and nothing had price tags just a price list on the wall AND IT WAS AWESOME!! That's how opshops are meant to be.

God, yes.

Op shops arent for the poor anymore, theyre for epople who can afford
regular clothes but want cheap clothes instead. That annoys me, I know
quite a few people who rely on op shops for their clothing (and
everythign else)

scared that it was going to explode sometime soon then catch fire in my
pocket and burn my pants off, so then I would be running around with no
pants.
