Hahaha so true, took me so long to find a pair I liked, and then they were actually wedge heeled but just looked flat. Sneaky. But then it turned out they were $330 so I didn't buy them anyway.

brown cowboy boots
some plain long sleeved or 3/4 sleeved tees in colours like burgundy, gray, off white and navy.
A thick cardigan that is actually warm
Big knitted jumper that I can just throw over jeans and a tee for when it gets cooler.

I need a nice dress to wear to my mate's wedding at the beginning of April. It is SO HARD to find something really nice that's not too clingy and doesn't make me look like I'm trying too hard!

My current list of fashion wants:

- Black flat boots
- Black high-heeled boots
- Basic tops - short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve, I have hardly any
- Knitted long sleeve tops
- Cardigans - definitely a black one and maybe some other cute ones too
- Black blazer
- Cream or other light-coloured coat - preferably from Forever New
- Cream beret
- Black flat shoes that are actually comfy - the last pair I bought were expensive Airflex shoes so should have been so comfortable, but they stick into the back of my foot

So basically I just need an entire new winter wardrobe haha.

Somehow Jay Jays jeans are the things that fit me best. I like their high waisted black skinnies. They're the only high waisted jeans they have, which is what I'm getting into.

I would like another pair of high waisted jeans. Not black. I tried some on in Just Jeans recently and none fit me well.

I actually usually go with Jay Jays jeans but after I wear them they get baggy in the bum and in the knees. And the pair I have now aren't made right so the seam always ends up in the front. I am actually after a nice pair of high waisted ones too, at least to try them on and see if they look any good on me.

High-waisted are the best. I practically live in my Grab Lizards. Amazing jeans!

I don't know if you have Spendless in Queensland, but the most comfortable pair of black heels that I have ever owned are a style called 'Bows' from them (I wear them every single weekend and I'm actually on to my third pair, that's how much I love them!). They're only $50 and unbelievably comfortable - but I have quite narrow feet, I doubt they'd be as comfy for someone with broad feet.

I bought a pair of semi high waist jeans from Sass&Bide and they are the best fitting jeans ever. I would advise spending a little extra to get a better fit.

My next jeans will be a major investment too ... I want a nice pair of dark blue skinnies that I can dress up or down. My friend Fi has some Lee Wranglers that are exactly what I want, but Lees always look funny on me for some raisin.
