I've been looking for a wee while now for a black dress I can wear as a bridesmaid at Rochelle's wedding in November. I think I've found "the one"; problem is, the only site I can find to buy it only ships within Australia.

I've emailed them to see if they could ship to NZ as a one-off, but if they can't help, and I can't find any other stockists, would any of you girls be willing to receive the package for me then post it to NZ? I'll cover the extra costs, obviously.

There are so many Bluejuice stockists in NZ, I just can't find this specific dress dammit!

I'll do it but they closed my post office so my closest one is in a really annoying hole of a place. So, basically, if noone else will, I'm happy to do it but it might take me a while to get it to you.

I would be more than happy to do it, but it would obviously be a lot faster and cheaper if it were someone on the east coast.

I want to do a modcloth order soon - 3 dresses, 2 pairs of socks, and more cheap crap if there's nice things, but the one dress that I really really want isn't in stock yet, and I don't want to spend my near $200 I will be spending if I'm not getting that dress.
I hope it's in stock when I have $200 to blow...

An online store similar to Topshop is ASOS clothes are a bit cheaper than Topshop. Sometimes I shop on Forever 21 for cheap simple stuff, I used to shop from Urban Outfitters but they support Republicans and are a bit over priced for quality (so a bit like Modcloth sometimes). There's also net-a-porter and covetish for cheaper designer goods

I got these online stores from Kelly's twitter she's shopped from a couple of them

This might sound really dumb but I can never bring myself to shop online for clothes. I browse the clothes, find things I love, and then right before I get my credit card out I start worrying about what size I am and what if it doesn't fit, or if it fits in general size but not in shape. Even sizing charts don't help because, for example according to the size chart on marketHQ my boobs are a size 8, but my hips are smaller than their smallest size. Then I sadly I put the card away. Help?

I'm the same! I'm a size 8 but often when I try clothes on they're too big around my boobs, but a size 6 is way too small for me, and also my bum/thighs are at the bigger end of a size 8 so sometimes things will be too tight around there but fit me perfectly everywhere else, so I'm scared to buy things online. The only things I've ever bought online that I haven't been able to try on in a shop first were two costumes for Halloween and Christmas, this website provided every possible measurement including length and I rang them to make sure that if it didn't fit I could get a refund (not an exchange). So yeah, I'm no help because I'm in the same boat!

I have found these pants that I LOVE on the Topshop site.

http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&productId=4555556&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=208528&parent_categoryId=203984&pageSize=20&refinements=category~

But I have to try pants on before I buy them because I have big hips and so many dont fit me right, like my hips are a size 14 but my butt is a size 10, and if they fit my butt they dont do up and if they fit my hips they just dont look right, so I dont ever buy pants online.

BUT my cousin Jess works at the new Topshop here, so ive PMed her going "OH MY GOD DO YOU HAVE THESE IN STOCK?"

*fingers crossed* I want I want I want I want.

Yeah I was a bit hesitant about online shopping at first but it's not that bad. I haven't had too many problems with sizes and most places let you return and if not I just resell

I just guessed i'd be a medium with my first online clothes purchase, and I was. I've only ever bought stuff off Modcloth though, and their sizing is pretty accurate, plus they have customer reviews under each product which has put me off buying a few dresses. I've only had a problem with one dress, being a bit tight around the waist but still wearable!
And I have the widest feet ever, and I've bought 2 pairs of shoes off modcloth and they've both fit fine.

Just do it, haha.

I'm lucky because I'm one of those bitches who is all in proportion. Even when I gain weight it spreads evenly; I never have a bigger butt or belly or thighs or anything. It's all just sort of the same size. So ... shame?

I haven't bought a whole lot of stuff online, purely because I haven't had the funds to go shopping full stop. I'm planning a complete wardrobe overhaul soon though (selling all my old stuff to create funds and space) and want to buy the majority of my new clothes online simply to avoid wearing the same stuff as everyone else. Seriously ALL the girls in my town seem to shop at the same places; even the chicks who buy designer brands are all getting them at the same place so they're all wandering around in similar Federation, Lower, Bluejuice or One Teaspoon gear; etc. All the same shet.

I REALLY want to wear different stuff. And the quality of Modcloth, ASOS, Topshop etc is so much better than Glassons, Jeanswest or any of the chain stores here. I've worn my rainbow dress from Modcloth to death and it's still in perfect condition. I have NO other garments I can say that about!

Bring it on ... Naughty Tash is tempted to get a credit card purely to have a big online shopping splurge; Sensible Tash knows this is a financially suicidal idea and will end in devastatingly low self-esteem and heartache.

But the cloootheeesss...
