Nah, not at all. But it's only little. If there was a lot of detail or shading I imagine it would be quite painful there.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about the placement for the rose I want. I was thinking the classic shoulder spot but my it might look silly considering how slight my arms are, also may be too visible? Otherwise now I'm considering the collarbone.

If youre worried about visibility for work-reasons, then shoulder is actually a pretty good place, most professional workplaces require you to have your shoulders covered anyway.

I got lectured by so many people when I got that damn tiny bass clef on my shoulder "OMG YOU WILL NEVER GET A JOB ITS IN SUCH A VISIBLE SPOT" erm, im not wearing a singlet to work so no?

Well, as a nurse I'll most likely be required to wear a uniform which obviously won't be a singlet but also I won't be able to control how long the sleeve is so the tattooo might pop out a bit, and while that won't bother me, it may be an issue with patients? ALthough I'm honestly more worried that it might look silly on my arm, because it's kind of a butchy placement and my arms are so slight.

I think remember Anna talking about having a nurse that was covered in tats? And I've generally found that older women are the most forthcoming about telling me how much they like my tattoos! Which is real strange. I think I've talked about that before though. They're getting a bit more accepted and once you start working you'll get the idea of wether it'd be appropriate or not.

Nah, the bottom bit is the logo that was on their first album and the shine on lyrics are from a song off their most recent album which I can't actually listen to yet because it still makes me cry so much because it reminds me of lightning... yep.

I've thought about some sort of heart but I think it'd be a bit cliche for obvious reasons, even though it has that meaning. Like, I already have something permanent on my body representing my open heart surgery, you know? A giant fucking scar? Ha.

So this is the new tattoo! Chaim. Hebrew for 'life'. Wanted it since I got back from overseas. I love it!

No I don't. But I wanted something to do with life, and I love phrase they use 'La Chaim', something like that, which just means 'to life'. Use it when they're celebrating, like toasting drinks or something. I loved it as soon as I saw it.
