Beauty Wants!

I'm not sure about it. I'm not a huge Simpsons fan anyway, but so far the collection looks a bit tacky. Will have to see more of it to judge I guess. Which is a good thing, because I have no money to buy anything if I wanted it.

Ah, see, I love the Simpsons and I really like tacky things, for the most part. I really dig the collection, but more in an aesthetic way, if that makes sense - there's nothing in it that I actually want to run out and buy. (Even if I had the money.) I did see the Simpsons print nail stickers in another post, though, and I do really want those!

Cathy is going to USA for work, and she agreed to bring me back some MAC. Now I have the first world problem of trying to decide what to get. I want ALL the lipsticks.

I need to think of pretty things that my parents can get me in Europe/Dubai/Singapore and in duty free, too!

Makeup Geek eyeshadows. Apparently they're comparable with MAC shadows, and they're only $6 each, instead of $26. I want to buy a large Z-palette and fill it with lots of these eyeshadows, they've got so many pretty colours.

I'm wearing it now. It's interesting - it does get really close to your lash line which is really good. I find the gel has "bled" (like lipstick does, into the lines around my eyes) and my cat eye isn't as defined as it would have been if I was wearing liquid.

The gel formula is really nice and really black but it does occasionally twist itself out randomly meaning the design wastes a bit of product, and it stays very 'tacky' for a while after application - although if you're used to gel liners, you might be used to that.

I really want that top Anna! I've heard a lot of people say it dries up.

I've heard mixed reviews on the Push-Up Liner, a lot of girls say it's good but just as many say it's dry, difficult to apply and not as black as liners they're used to. I'm gonna try a sample in-store before deciding whether to go for that or a regular gel/liquid.

Tash - I tried it in store and fell in love with it, it seriously seemed perfect then. The drying up thing seems to happen after a while, probably wouldn't happen with constant use like a store sample.

Maybelline have a gel pen liner coming out soon too, that might be interesting too.

I just discovered you can layby items on TradeMe with some sellers, which is freakin' excellent news considering I'm almost out of my Jimmy Choo and won't be able to afford to buy a new one for a while. Can get a 100ml EDP on TradeMe for $70 though, which means the layby deposit would only be $14. That I can do! I yelped this out excitedly to the general vicinity of the lounge room, and Viv simply raised his eyebrows and said, "Why don't I just buy one and you can layby it off me?" He's visiting Texas next week and the same perfume is only $53 on Amazon. He's ordering a bunch of stuff now to be delivered to his hotel room - clothes, shoes, makeup for Holly - and asked if I want in on the order. "You can just pay me back whenever suits."

I've made a decision! I'm going to get Cathy to get me from MAC Impassioned lipstick, Be A Lady mineralized lipstick, and Gingerly blush.

I'm getting the other two Naked palettes! My friend Steffi's brother is coming back from America in September-ish and she's placing a huge Macys order to get shipped to him, so he can bring it back, and she said I can order some things too

I really want some of the MAC Osbourne collection, but I just can't bring myself to spend $38 on a lipstick. Not when I've found some great quality ones for $20 (Lime Crime <3).
I probably should save money for other things anyway.

Just bought most of those - minus the purples (out of stock) and the second from the left on the bottom row (out of stock). Plus more. Plus a small Z-palette. Will report back on how good they are/how they compare to MAC. I spent the same as I would have on 3 MAC single shadows.

How has noone on here mentioned Lime Crime yet? I so want Suedeberry lip stain, Cherry On Top lip gloss and Glamour 101 lipstick, but I haven't even got my Mac stuff from Cathy yet. Also, I'd love some of the more crazy colours but I don't think I could pull them off.

Lime Crime seems to be really taking off - I've seen it a lot on people's Instagrams lately. I used to know of her about five years ago, I think she had a blog and people whose blogs I followed mentioned her or something. It's so funny, up until maybe a few months ago I hadn't heard anything about her/the business or thought about it at all, and now it's everywhere. But I guess its recent popularity means it's probably good stuff - I'm sure you could pull it off!

I have! My first wish list! I have Glamor 101, it's nice, but haven't used it yet. Also have Babette, Great Pink Planet, Geradium, My Beautiful Rocket, Airborne Unicorn, Poisonberry, Chinchilla, and Mint to Be (which is fantastic and I will use it all summer). Yep, I love Lime Crime!

Now on my wishlist is Cosmopop, Serpentina and No She Didn't, along with Salem lip stain and their electric blue liquid liner. Hopefully I can get those from Princess Polly (they're the cheapest I've found) before my promo code runs out, (LOVEWALL24 for15% off before the 30th) otherwise they have $10 off code all the time (FUN) and free shipping over $50, and it's FAST.

Both times I've modeled for someone's make up course, I've just wanted to buy the products they used! Last time I ended up buying the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and the other two Naked palettes are on their way to me from America now. After yesterday, I now want to buy the Napoleon foundation and powder that she used because it felt SO LIGHT but the coverage was good, lip liner in Nude Awakening, lipstick in Niki and that mosaic blush. I'm going to be poor.
