No Goes

In Easties today I saw a girl, probably about 14, wearing one of those stripy loose midrif tops, leggings as pants and ugg boots. That's three no goes in one gross package deal!

Okay, not really a no go, actually I usually quite like it but what is with the onslaught of girls dying their hair fiery red? It feels like every second girl I know has dyed their hair red lately. It's just a bit overdone, pick a different hair color.

I totally agree about the first statement though. once again tights, leggings, stockings whatever you want to call them ARE NOT PANTS! To be worn under skirts, dresses or shorts if you will. Put some fucking pants on.

I wear leggings as pants, but always with oversized or long tops so my bum's covered. I hate seeing them worn as 'normal' pants.

Oversized/long tops come into the same category as dresses in my opinion. As long as the bum is covered everything is okay!

I'm with Anna they go under clothing not as their own. And there's a difference between a long top cover your bum and only just covering when your undies/bum and giving a 24/7 box shot

I like the baggy midriff stripey tops... with high waisted pants/shorts, but I doubt I will ever buy one. Maybe it's just I like strippey things?

I think a dress at a music festival is a no go.

All the physio girls at uni wear leggings as pants. Now it might have something to do with the fact that they have to wear leggings for the practical stuff they do, that's probably it...but their polo shirts obviously don't cover the bum/front bum and it is not cool!

Yesterday at work there was a girl being served at the checkout opposite mine wearing tights as pants. As if that wasn't bad enough, SHE HAD A HOLE ON ONE OF HER BUM CHEEKS! Hahahaha I absolutely lost it. Now, I would have felt sorry for her except that I think she must have known, because there were a few holes up the back of her leg, there is no way she couldn't have noticed.

Thigh boots in everyday use. I haven't seen a single good example yet. Unless you are a stripper, please do not wear them. Just, don't.

Yeah but the thing about you Kira, is you pick up clothes I would never imagine anyone looking good in in a million years and pull it all together in some crazy mess to look cool.

Yeah you'd rock them, Kira! I think even the grossest "no go" you can imagine would look good on some people, just not the majority :p

I love my thigh high boots But I would only wear them if it's somewhere dressyish.. not work or every day thats for sure!

Boots look shit on me in general so I would never wear them but I think they're ok as long as you're not aiming for the 'hooker' look. My friend Jenifer has some amazing ones that make her legs look so so long.

I swear, almost every girl in Blacktown wears tights as pants with ugg boots. GROSS!

A certain friend went to a formal do on the weekend and she was wearing a really pretty halter dress with a bit of a plunging neckline - but in every single photo you can see the clasp of her chicken fillets at the front and it completely ruins it! Just because the clasp is made of clear plastic does not mean that it is invisible, you are still meant to try and hide it! And if, as in this case, it's well and truly above the plunging neckline then either go braless or look at other options, it just looks gross!

I'm not a fan of underwear being visible, ever ... very rarely acceptable if the bra straps are beautiful (I'm talking very lush lingerie) and themed with the outfit. Otherwise, GTFO.

Haha, I'm worst offender for this. I mean, you can never see the clasp or anything but my straps are clearly visible most of summer and they tend to slip down a lot.

I think it's okay if you're wearing a singlet but not with strapless tops, the idea of strapless is to have no straps!

There was ice all over the bus stop sign and even the jacket she was wearing over the top was cropped.
