So, I saw some work in Tattoos Down Under magazine a while ago by this chick Nadine Bryant. I just randomly remembered it now, so I googled her name; turns out she's a Hamilton tattooist (Kelsey's town). And she is awesome! Maybe it's just fate that I'm supposed to meet up with Kez every time I get a tattoo?

Im thinking about an anchor now.
Kind of ties in with the swallow being a sailor tattoo and all.
More like to remind me to stay grounded?
But i have a swallow to remind me to aim high?

The anchor will be a symbol of you guys and being independent, as our ship is called, and all that. I want independent in a banner over the anchor. My friends say that it's a total contradiction, but I don't care because it makes sense to me!

HAHA harden up Clairebear, it's honestly not that bad. Well, I've only got a small one, on my foot, but from the stories I'd heard, I was expecting it to be sheer agony. I was waiting and waiting for it to get bad, and then eventually I was like, "Um, is this it?" and he was all, "Yes, noob." And Kelsey was all *giggle giggle* and Sian was all *waves camera in other guy's face who's also getting tattooed at same time*.

By the way, serious response - I think it would be SO pretty, and really suit you. Just a tiny wee anchor off to the side on your wrist, would be so gorgeous. Wrist tattoos are really cool, especially if done properly... i.e. small and elegant. I really like the idea of getting two tiny music notes on the inside of my wrist, too.

OMG. OMG OMG.
There is a girl at work who has THE symbol on her wrist. The one ive been wanting for ages and was starting to think its too silly to get.
I have no re fallen back in love with the design.

But i want mine to be more.... longer and elegant.
I want an anchor, but at the same time i dont know how id go with it on my foot where as i wanted something long and swirly on my foot.

Maybe an old anchor with vines and stuff growing around it?

Or maybe that's a shit idea.
what am I thinking!?
