Tattoos

You know what I think is stupid? On LA and Miami Ink when people say they're getting a tattoo to "remind" them of something.

I have NOTHING against tattoos with significance but if you NEED a tattoo of your dead mum on you to remind you of her, there's something wrong with you.

And I hate when people get tattoos they know they're going to be defensive about and come up with crap reasons. You're ALLOWED to just get a tattoo because you think it looks pretty. That's okay!

I am so happy I found my quote! I'm getting it inked on me as soon as I find the perfect font. I want it on the side of my torso, sort of where bra strap sits.

I found a box set of miami ink sitting in the orders shelf yesterday, and i wanted it.

Not good looking around tegan. Not good.

I've decided I want my quote inked with a feather quill, similar to the tattoo I posted earlier, but a little different. I'd like the quill to be a lot more detailed - a feather like this would be perfect, then have the words arching underneath a little bit.

I want something Rent on me.
Because I was thinking, hmmm, out of everything in the world what do I love most?
And I came up with
- Love
- Musicals
- Words
- Tattoos

And so a Rent tattoo sounds perfect to me.
I am thinking, 'No day but today'.
Or, 'Forget regret, or life is yours to miss.'

If I got a tattoo I'd want it to be a feather like that, or a ribbon just under my hairline at the back of my neck.

My friend has something tattood on her foot that is the same sort of font as that. It's real pretty.
I can't remember what it says though. Something about life.

Yeah, Laura has the same sort of font for her tattoo.

But if it was that detailed, wouldn't it have to be, you know, really large? Or is that what you're after?

Yeah, it'll be about that size, maybe a teensy bit smaller, maybe a teensy bit bigger. But about that size.

That's really pretty. And, Alex, a Rent quote sounds perfect for you. I particulary like "No day but today"

I'm trying to decide on a placement for my "musica" tattoo. I was thinking sort of down along my spine on my mid-upper back.

Me too, that's such an awesome idea. It's a cool quote even on its own, without the musical significance.
