Gorman sales are the worst. I am trying very hard to utilise self control. I think the problem with a lot of their clothing it's super baggy and shapeless which is fine if you tall and thin

Yeeesss that's me right now too Anna! I've persevered with sourcing work clothes secondhand for literally years now; the upside is it has been cheap and sustainable, but the downside is everything I bought was already a bit knackered, so is now fully knackered, and I'm in a role now where I can wear anything I like, as long as it's vaguely presentable, so it's even more tempting to go wild on ModCloth or similar because I can actually wear shark skirts and banana dresses and bright shoes and be celebrated for it, not taken aside and given a talking-to.

OH MAN IT'S SO TEMPTING.

The only two items I was absolutely smitten with from that wish list (the banana dress and shark skirt) are now out of stock in my size. Ain't that always the way? ONLY the two things I really wanted.

In brighter news, went to buy gumboots on the weekend and discovered regular good gummies cost $75 anyway, so I now have zero qualms about dropping $75 on pug gumboots! I AM SO GETTING THOSE GUMBOOTS.

Remember this dress, that I wanted so badly and went out of stock while I was deliberating over other items in my basket?



After much Googling, I have located the original producers of the dress, Aida Zak based in London. They have ONE of these dresses left in my size. With much glee, I clicked through to buy it, only to find New Zealand is non-existent on the drop-down list of postal countries. WHY.

I've emailed them to ask if they can pretty, pretty please send to New Zealand; I can't see why not, if I'm covering the cost, but what if it sells out while I'm waiting for a response? I don't think I could cope with losing this dress twice!

Sian I have had that very idea! I'm not super keen to pay double-ish postage; I think Australia must be one of the most expensive countries in the world to send anything out of, but if I have to I totally will!
