I'm so tempted to get it cut back to shoulder length, but I know I'll hate it because my hair is an unruly mess, and I like how it's getting long and princessy right now.

Someone tell me what is a good brand of curling iron to buy? I have nooo idea where to start, all I know is that I'm a poor uni student and can't afford anything to expensive. Help?

the only brands I know, except sun beam and a few other kitcheny brands, is that expensive one. D....h..... oh GHD.

But yeah, expensive.

Just as long as you use a decent heat protective treatment, I have a good one from delorenzo. Or what ever. Anyway the treatment costs more then the straightner did - and my hair is fine.

I got it for my birthday nearly two years ago and it is still perfect. My hair is really curly and it straightens it perfectly and does it so fast. Endless GHD love.

yeah remington have ceramic coated curlers, which is way better for your hair

I got a straightener for my birthday about 4 years ago. I think I've used it about twice. I just don't bother.

I've never used a heat protection spray or anything in my life and I used to straighten my hair everyday and the hairdressers all tell me how wonderful and healthy my hair is.

I'm such a rebel. Some remington straighteners/curlers are okay I think, also apparently that Wahl brand is alright so if they have curling irons maybe look into them? Their straightener is pretty good and only about $80.

I'm gonna grow out my layers, and just dye my hair black next time I go to the hairdresser.

Layers annoy me too much, I'm sick of having to straighten my hair every morning ><

Because then you get to do both. Dread it, and then when they get mangy, you can cut it short.

Dreadlocks are hot but you have very curly hair so cutting it short will make it like an afro?
