you know what's annoying??....... When you try to bleach your hair and it goes burnt orange colour instead of blonde. yuck. and when brown dye fades to red.

I've also wanted to bleach my hair, I want to have a chunk of hot pink, but I'm too scared to try it.

In year 11 I dyed my hair a dark red colour, which i really really loved, but it faded out to ugly orange, really ugly orange, and I didnt have any money so it stayed ugly orange with brown re-growth until the year 12 formal when I dyed it black.

Oh wow chiken that's a long time to have yucky orange! Couldn't you just get a 14 dollar packet for in the mean time?

Nah, they dont work on me, because my hair is so dark naturally, it would have been one colour on the bottom and just dark brown up the top, im yet to find a pack that matches it properly.

HAHAHAHA MY BEST FRIEND HAS THAT except she dyes it every two weeks but she gets this racing stripe towards the end.
What's the go with chemical/permanent straightening, does anyone know anything about it?

Hah. Some guys in my year have just got their hair all shaved so they look like they have racing stripes down the side of their head.

Chemical straightening (that my friend had) is about $500, and they strighten it, and it stays stright. Then when the natural hair starts to grow it's a bit gay at the roots but mostly ok.

My friend has straightened her hair for years, and it's still in great condition.

My hair is finally back to it's natural colour.
I always loved it because it's kind of light blonde, but it has a bunch of black hairs through it (which, when I was younger, always seemed to get blamed on being part indian) AND I THINK IT IS COOL!

I always thought brown was a nice hair colour.
Maybe you could 'liven it up' or something with one of those temporary hair dye things that just darkens or lightens it slightly but makes it shiny in the process?

I always thought - when I go into a movie, the girl might have gorgeous chocolate brown hair, or red hair, or blonde hair. And I would want her hair.

But if a gorgeous girl can have any colour hair that makes you wish it were yours, then surely the hair colour YOU have is just as good as any?

I'm putting a rinse through my hair.

It only lasts a couple of weeks, but It makes my hair a pretty red-brown colour and shiny.

It looks heaps healthier too.

How'd you get it back to your natural audz? I love your hair colour too. I'm cutting all mine off in a few weeks and dying it ALL blonde, because I think if it's really short i must be cutting off all the layers of dyed hair that i can no longer dye because it'll go orange because of all the other sh*t in it and how damaged it is. I'll have fresh untouched 'virgin' hair to get the exact colour i want

Jacinta i think if you're bored with your hair colour as brown maybe put some blonde in it?? because you can always dye over it, and i know i've never seen you blonde and it could suit you. I dunno try a few different colours, if it stuffs up just go back to how you are now..

i hate my hair.

its still so thick and just bleh, even though the hairdresser thinned it.

i have to straighten it every day, it just flicks everywhere...and i hate washing it, it turns into a big fly away flicky mess, or "wookie hair" as my mum so affectionately dubbed it.

i hate it...its so boring..but i can't afford foils or chemical straightening...it sucks big time. that's why im dying to get a job.
