Costume ideas (again)

im going as a hooters girl now. due to the fact i actually have a hooters shirt, long knee high socks and short coloured shorts.
Ill just wear an awesome bra with it. done.

Hooters singlets are so comfy!

I need ideas for a fantasy party next Saturday! The theme is fairly open - unicorns, orcs, fairy princesses, fantasy characters...I need something awesome but easy!

I think I'm going to make my 21st a themed party. I have two themes in mind, the first was the one I've had in mind for ages and everyone dresses in black and white and I wear a colour. I really like this one because people don't have to go to too much effort to dress up, but a friend used it earlier in the year and pretty much everyone went to her party so I don't really want to reuse the theme.

The other one is 'when I grow up I want to be', which is also cool and people can have fun with, but I'm worried it's too much effort and people won't be bothered.

What to do, what to do?!

Both sound good! I remember seeing photos from a river cruise that a girl in the year above me did for her 18th I think, everyone wore black and/or white and she had this gorgeous bright yellow dress, it looked awesome. But I think the "when I grow up" theme would be fun, I'm sure people would be bothered, especially considering it's a 21st!

Yeah I'm so annoyed that Anna did the first one, especially because in the end the dress she wore was this realllly pale blue, so it didn't even stand out! Rah!

I'd just be worried that people would not care and wear colour anyway...

I always thought that idea was a little narcissistic, hey it's my birthday everyone look at me type thing. But that's for me personally, I don't like to stand out in such a way.

For my 21st I am definitely going to have a costume party but I'm not sure what exactly but it will happen and I will make everyone dress up!

Mainly it just looks good in photos and it's really easy for people to do.

Plus, it is my 21st birthday so I'm guessing most people would be there to see me anyway?

I think it's okay to be a little narcissistic on your birthday. Although sometimes when people do that and I see the pictures, I think they just didn't follow their own theme.

Hahah, yeah. I think I will do the other one and hopefully find an amazing tutu like dress.

I just couldn't see myself doing that, plus knowing my friends everyone would just wear whatever the fuck they want.

My manager had a guitar hero party a while ago and people dressed up and the photos look amazing (it might just be because I took the pictures that I think that) but some people looked really good... (lots did not bother though which is sad..)

Chris' sister throws these amazing costume parties and she just doesn't let people in if they don't dress up. Or has a punishment, like when she had a medieval party if people didn't dress up they got put in the stocks.

my friends were heaps good about the black and white thing except for kate, who spilt foundation on her white dress and couldnt wear it hahaha.
