MMM YES NARS BLUSHES. I have deep throat and Desire and I love them forever. Also They're Real! is my favourite mascara but I haven't tried bad gal lash (??) so I'm gonna buy that in America I think. We just did a Benefit order from the US site the other day, actually! It's way better value.

the UD website recommends you get one of those US post box forwarding services. However! I think you can get them from Debenham's/House of Fraser in the UK (I got one from somewhere and I think it was one of these) and they ship to Aus so maybe you could check that out? I have naked 2 and I love it, I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow so it's nice knowing I have ones that go together and are good quality. Also Soap & Glory do some amazing eyeshadow quads which are cheap as shit, you can get them on Amazon UK.

Things really aren't that much different in the UK. Naked palette is £37, which is about $74 at the moment, plus international transaction fees, plus shipping, Beauty Bay works out cheaper.

I put $130 worth of stuff in my basket on the benefit site the other day... Will be ordering it when I get a job!

-edit- if you want I mean, I just realised this sounded weird but I just feel like big brands like benefit NEVER have discount sales and so sometimes it's cheaper to go through a third party! it wasn't meant to be a weird plug!

The only legit stockist I've found is an online store, beautybliss.co.nz. The only other Naked palettes I've found in NZ are on TradeMe (like Ebay but for Kiwis). My friend Viv has a post box in the US, or something, as he buys heaps of clothes from US stores, so gets them shipped to that address then forwarded on. He said I can use that anytime I like, so that could be a go. I know of a girl who does the same because she's hooked on Chanel skincare and it's just ridiculous to try and get it in/to NZ any other way.

I guess I need beauty advice? If that's what you can call it. Anyway, I have this…..I don't even know what you'd call it. Basically it looks like I have a moustache, because the skin is darker or something above my lip where a moustache on a dude *would* be, but there's no actual hair. HELP

If you're only concerned about it when you go out, a good concealer will probably do. If you want a more permanent fix you can try going to a beautician or laser place, as most do color correction.

I was going to suggest using the plunkett super fade as well, because out of all the treatments that kinda help with melasma, that was the best I came across at the pharmacy. Not badly priced either, but I'd be careful about being sensitive to sun after.

(Alpha h 50+ sunscreen is THE BEST by the way. I wore it the other day, and it initially feels sunscreeny but then it changed and it just felt like my face was lovely and moisturised!)

My order from Mecca - Nars blush in Orgasm and lip gloss in Turkish Delight - were shipped today so should arrive at work tomorrow, yay!

I'm not a lip gloss person but I've heard fantastic things about their lip crayon things too.

I have one of those too, and it's really nice. To be honest I wouldn't mind buying all the shades of those as well

I won a $100 voucher from one of the shopping centers in the city, but everything there is quite expensive so I decided to get some makeup. I got Nars Orgasm blush, Nars Kalahari eyeshadow duo and Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.

I never spend much money on makeup so I'm pretty excited!

I just bought Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette yay! Spending money each week on makeup makes me happy. Even though I've been getting 2 shifts a week. Hopefully I get shifts next week!

I bought the new Revlon Colourburst Lacquer and Matte balms. I prefer them over the regular ones as the colour is more rich like lipstick

I haven't tried the lacquer ones, but I love the matte ones! I love the original ones though.

I BOUGHT SOME MAKEUP TODAY! It's exciting enough for Caps because I haven't bought makeup in ages. Postie Plus (of all places) were having a big makeup sale, so I picked up a purple Revlon lipstick (similar to MAC Heroine), a clear Maybelline lip gloss and two pairs of exfoliating gloves for $16.

They also had Elizabeth Arden Ceramide and Revlon Age Defying foundations for $12, which I REALLY wanted, but they had none in my shade, dammit.

Wait, no, I lie. The lipstick is L'Oreal, not Revlon.

Naked 2 palette, you are mine! (Now if only I didn't have to wait for shipping...)
